This young man was in a traumatic accident. One porcelain crown was placed on a tooth needing root canal treatment and two composite restorations (bonded white fillings) were placed on the adjacent fractured teeth. This was done conservatively. We kept as much of the remaining tooth structure as possible. We did not aggressively prepare any of the teeth or bury the margins of the crown under the gum line and cause the gum tissue to become inflamed.
